  1. Seeing is believing, anyone looking at her face can say that this woman is innocent. Why bother to read her story. She must be released immediately. She is a woman has small children, took pain to serve husbands, she is not a murderer and lived a clean life with her husband, a woman is a most delicate creature of God and needs liniency and respect. She must have been harrased by her husband, every thing is clear reading her story that she is vulnerable and her husband treated her like an obsolete item.Though i live in Karachi, Pakistan but i and my family can feel her pain and plight. enough is enough,i appeal to B.hussain Obama to release her immediately.Thanks.

  3. This race has suffered much in the past in your continent, but from time to time atrocities on them could still be observing in your society ,let this case be the last nail on the casket of prejudices, no doubt it will be injustice to white people if i dont agree and accept that they have changed their minds and thoughts about blacks, things are totally different now and whites now show tolerances every where, example is sending B H Obama to the White House, great work! Now, I should have never used words like black and white since in my religion distinction of colors, cast creed and race is totally prohibited and since this deadly concept has roots in your society and had been a reality in the past,(I know the case of ROSA PARKES), and was recognized by you as policy i was compelled despite being a ittle apprehensive to use them.,hope you wont mind.
Marissa is innocent and must be sent home, how come a woman with small children would attack her husband . Her life must had been in danger and to save it she reacted what i and most can understand.
I and my family protest and ask Obama to release her immediately. In no way a womwn can try to kill her husband unless she had been doing so and had a history of crime on her record. Thanks

  5. There seems to be little justice in Florida for victims of domestic violence, or the children of such victims. Violence against women is treated by Florida police, courts and social services as if Jim Crow were the operative, unstated rule of law.

The State has a clear and long standing history of racial animus against African Americans making the Stand Your Ground defense law a doomed piece of legislation. The message Florida sends by prosecuting Ms. Alexander, and battered women like her, is that the law is neither race nor gender neutral, and the Fourteenth Amendment is, well, just another piece of marketing fluff, to be thrown out along with one's Pennysaver.

  6. What is the matter with Florida? A white mother doesn't report her child missing for month, they find her remains and she walks free. The same law that Marissa is being tried against is going to let a man walk that killed an unarmed teenager. I do not understand what people in this country are doing with their spare time. I care about other races, but I have to think of my own in this instance. Black people WAKE UP, this woman needs our help. Why are we being made the example instead of the solution. If this was your mother, sister or daughter etc.. then you would be outraged. Marissa is not related to me as far as I know and I want to fight for her life. My cousin was repeatedly beat by her husband and in the end she killed him in self defense. My cousin was given 6 years in prison and served 3 years of that sentence. I know a lot of people say why didn't she leave her husband, but sometimes it is not that easy. I am going to do what I can to help you Marissa. If I have to come to Florida and protest alone and show my support, I will.
